I’m so excited about this week.  Not only am I off work but I get to spend it with my cousin from Germany.  Aint she beautiful!? She’s going to be so throwed-off by us Southern folk. Lol! It’s my first time to meet her but thankfully, we’ve been able to stay in touch through Facebook. Tomorrow I’m meeting her at the airport. Woohoo!!!                   I leave you with a poem from today. Be Still. I shall update later with news of our adventures! :) FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM! /// Silverspeak7 I bend, I break You move, I shake I can’t, awake from this fear from this place With every storm and every wind I feel frailer than I began The skies above me roaring I see they’ve lost their hue Any strength that I have left in me is the strength I’ve found in you Be still my heart help me understand that though I feel alone You hold me in your hands. Be still. Be still. I close, my eyes I breathe, again I can’t, disguise the mess of who I am The rain that falls

Holdin' on to every moment.

There aren’t enough hours in the day. Really.  I figured I would go ahead and update because I’ll have family in soon and won’t get a chance to.  I just gotta note some pretty wonderful things that happened since the last time I was here. My hubby and his team came home from Joplin, MO. Like I said before, I’m so proud of him & the youth group.  The damage from the tornado is unreal. He felt like the work they did hardly made a dent but I know that it was worth it. God did some pretty remarkable things in so many people’s lives.  If you’re interested in reading his story, you can find it HERE . Oh and here are some pics of where they worked. I can't help but feel brokenhearted when I see these. Photo taken by my hubby. So sad! :'( another one. This is the place they worked.  Sam's Place.  Here's the before and after,   Faith came home from Costa Rica! For those that don’t know, she’s like a little sister to me.  She was gone for two months interning
