Galileo Figaro!

Well, the in-laws left yesterday morning and we had so much fun with them while they were here.  Eli is wild and hilariously fun.  It was a big adjustment having a two year old in our house for a week.  Our home isn't really child-proof and we are used to making plans, coming and going, without having to worry about attitudes and nap times.  It was interesting to say the least.  I love that kid.  He's so sweet in nature.  When he hugged me bye this morning, he just staying in my arms for a lil longer than your average hug.  I almost teared up and it was nice to just hold him.  His mom and dad are doing a great job raising him.  I'm looking forward to our next visit. OH! My sweet sister in law made me these rings! She's so talented. :) I hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day!!! Do you have any favorite moments from the weekend? One of my favorite moments was my family sitting at the dinner table singing Queen and humming the Star Wars Theme Song.

Well, hello! Notice something different? Yup! I got a shnazzy new layout.  All thanks and love goes to Amy .  She's is so sweet to have taken the time out to do this for me.  I was blown away with the transition.  She has so many talents, including photography. If you don't know Amy, you're missing out so... Check her out ! Aside from drooling over my freshly designed blog, I've been preparing the house for our guests. They'll be here tomorrow!!!! I can't wait.  I'll also be cooking for them but NOT experimenting. Hahaha! I'm only using Jon as my guinea pig (btw, had a random dream last night that I owned a guinea pig. Random.).  Anyway, he doesn't seem to mind. I started asking him to grade it from 1-10 and so far I haven't been under 7. Woot! What I cook is easy to make and it's usually quick.  I would share them but the crappy part is, I don't measure the ingredients.  I don't like to. I just estimate. UNLESS I'm baking. Th

The Walking Dead

It's time for an update. You know, because I'm doing stuff. Things. I'm so excited about October 12th. Are you? THE WALKING DEAD! That's right folks.  It's time for Season 5. From the very first episode, I was hooked.  You remember the scene with the Goldilocks zombie at the gas station right?  Suspense, shock, terror, insanity. My husband and I gave each other our best "holy crap" look and instantly hungered for more. Thankfully, it's still going strong. Here we are at Season 5 and I'm still just as enthralled as I was from Days Gone Bye. Pair my excitement with the hostess blood that runs through my veins and what do you have?  And by hostess, I don't mean Twinkies and HoHos. Although...you might look at me and be surprised that isn't the case. Baby got back. ANYWAY...all that to say... LETS GET CRAZY.
