I had so much fun with the photo challenge on instagram for May. (You can follow me @silverspeak7) My neice asked me to send her one for June and I thought I'd make one to share. Have fun! Get Creative!
It really does. So many things are changing for the better. First of all, I'm totally digging my new layout. I wanted a new look to go with my fresh start. :) Changes happening... 1. My relationship with God is growing. He's always been working on me but I've been very complacent for a very long time. I'll talk more about that later. But for now, let me just say, I've been loving this hunger and reawakened desire to KNOW Him. When I read the Bible, it's not a chore...it's a desire to want to know my Savior. 2. Health. I've got a kick-arse gym buddy who is super encouraging and motivating. I've been getting into a routine. Baby steps. I can't expect to undo in a few days what took years to turn into a mess. This also goes hand in hand with eating better. I've had a few hiccups but I'm staying motivated to stay on track. This is a big deal for me because I get discouraged so easily. #icandothis 3. My Anniversary Weekend was AWESOME . I can't believe it's been 5 years. We had so much fun together. We started the day off earlier than usually. I was going to prepare some picnic food that morning but my hubby said he wanted a steak. Lol! Great picnic food right? Chili’s-to-go it was! We picked a sweet little spot by the river and enjoyed each others company. After that, we did a little bit of shopping. We took Kaiser with us since we were also celebrating his birthday. He made 5 this month too! I wish I would've taken pics of him in Petsmart...
I thought it would be appropriate to update. It’s been quite a while. We survived Isaac. Thankfully, we didn’t have any damage or power outages where we are. However, so many people have suffered due to this storm. Please keep them in prayer. Kaiser was being a little dramatic that he couldn't play outside. I spent my days waiting out the weather with my grandmother who seemed to stay in a constant state of confusion. According to her…she was staying in my home, we were getting ready for church, I’m from Texas and I didn't feed her for lunch. Poor thing didn't know what was going on. She was in a great mood other than that. It was so cute at one point where after I fed her lunch, she sighed contently and gave me an excuse about needing to relax. So relaxing meant sitting in the worn out spot on the couch watching NBC. Now, my grandmother insists that anything electronic is of the devil but yet she wa...
