So, I'm taking this class about Creation with an amazing teacher. It's a Biblical teaching about creation with a lot of information stemming from Answers In Genesis .  You'd think it's basic stuff right? God created the heavens and the earth. He made Adam and Eve...then there's sin, judgment and all the begat so and so. Well, there's more to it than that.  We're also learning about other people's beliefs like The Gap Theory, The Big Bang...etc.  It's been really interesting grasping more depth on others beliefs and theories.  One of the the MANY things I love about this class is that we're not learning this information for argumentative purposes or to verbally abuse people. However, it is designed to help us stand firm on what WE believe and to better explain it if the opportunity arises. I know this isn't like my other entries but I needed to share it with you. I just want to ask if you would join me in prayer for marriages and families. I know that’s pretty broad but I felt really pressed to pray. I don’t know about y’all but a huge majority of my friends (around my age) are struggling, separated, divorced or on their second separations/divorces. I don’t mean to come across as arrogant. Jon and I don’t have a perfect marriage. I also feel pressed to pray for the younger and future generations because I hate seeing the example ours has set. I know there are different circumstances that lead to that point and I know it’s not just my generation struggling but we seem to just give up so easily. We’ve missed the mark and we have no idea what commitment is. I wrote part of this prayer down to share with you all. Please join me in prayer, today. Hey lovelies! I'm still alive!! Man, I’ve missed it here. Let me bring you up to speed on where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to the last cabillion days. Don't worry. It's abridged. I may have mentioned before that Jon and I have been meeting with couple, Tony and Jane, for mentoring.  They are a blast!  We’ve been enjoying getting together at least once a month. Jon and I aren’t on the rocks or anything but we knew it would be wise to have an older / experienced couple to talk to about things that could become problems if they weren’t handled correctly. Does that make sense? It’s really incredible how God formed this.  We both thought of the same couple to start our mentoring with but it was just a matter of asking them and we didn’t want to be a burden or sound like crazy folk.  Little did I know, they were in prayer over what was to happen next in their lives and when I mentioned the mentoring, it rang true.
